The General Assembly (GA) of the International Mathematical Union consists of delegates appointed by the Adhering Organizations, together with the members of the Executive Committee. The GA normally meets once in four years, usually at a place and date close to an International Congress of Mathematicians.

The GA this time will be held at the Chancery Pavilion, Bangalore on August 16 and 17, 2010 prior to the ICM 2010.

The program of the GA will  start at 09:00 in the morning on the first day, August 16, 2010 and finish in the afternoon of August 17, 2010.

It is expected that the delegates will arrive at Bangalore on August 15. All the delegates will be met at the airport on their arrival and we will make arrangements for local transportation form the airport to one of the Chancery hotels. The Local Organizing Committee will make all the necessary arrangements for the travel of the delegates to Hyderabad on August 18.
